Dorian Oil Skimmer

Dorian Tool International has developed an easy-to-use system that separates lubricating oils from emulsified water, which get mixed into the coolant tanks of CNC tooling machines.

The mixture of lubricating oils and emulsified water can bring about various problems such as bad smells, deterioration of the emulsion, and skin irritation. These problems cause the machine to be stopped frequently in order to replace the emulsion, which leads to higher operating costs and decreased productivity.

Thus, the Dorian Oil Skimmer works to decrease operating costs, increase all-around productivity, and increase the life of the CNC tooling machine.

The Dorian Oil Skimmer comes in three styles:

• Standard, with a 1" wide polyurethane belt and maximum operating temperature of 122°F

• Heavy Duty Low Temp, with a 3.2" wide polyurethane belt and maximum operating temperature of 122°F

• Heavy Duty High Temp, with a 3.2" wide Kevlar chain and maximum operating temperature of 212°F

No limitation on the size of tank to be cleaned • For All Industrial Use

• For turning & machining centers and work areas with tanks containing up to 500 gallons of emulcifiable oil.

• 1 inch wide polyurethane belt

• High performance - Extraction rate of up to 1/2 gal/hr at a maximum temperature of 122°F

• Operates at 4.5 volts (approx. 6 revs/min)

• Extraction depths of 8", 24", and 56"

• For large centralized emulsion tanks & piece washers

• 3.2 inch wide Kevlar chain

• High performance - Extraction rate of up to 4 gal/hr at a maximum temperature of 212°F

• Operates at 12 volts (approx. 20 revs/min)

• Extraction Depths of 16", 32", and 48"
